NBA Shows Support for Women’s March


While coach Gregg Popovich wowed progressives with his outspoken support for the Women’s Marches around the globe, other members of NBA family got involved too!

Stan Van Gundy, head coach and president of basketball operations for the Detroit Pistons, told the media that he was incredibly proud of his wife and daughters for marching in Washington. According to the Detroit Free Press, the Van Gundy’s were were also joined by the wives of the  assistant coach Otis Smith and international director of scouting J.R. Holden.

“I think it’s an opportunity for them to be a part of history and it’s worldwide,” Van Gundy told reporters. “There’s marches going on everywhere. I was just looking at it so it’s an exciting day for them and I’m happy they were able to do it.”
